The clay pot is made in Assia, Batroun by Sana Jabbour and her husband.

Only two potters remain in Lebanon today. The pots are all natural and comes from the soil of the surrounding hills of Assia, Batroun.

This clay pot is used to cook eggs, vegetables, meat, or to store preserved hot and cold foods. Cooking with an all natural lead-free clay pot is healthier than other material, and better at bringing out flavors too. It can be used on coal and even in the oven.

Diameter: 16cm
Depth: 4cm
Weight: 0.6Kg

- Don’t soak in water
- Allow it to cool down fully before washing
- Dry perfectly after washing

Tips:

Add olive onto a napkin and start wiping down the pot with the napkin and then put the pot on low heat for about 4 mins. Then turn the heat off so that the pot can absorb the oil. Also, make sure to not pot this hot pot under cold water. After usage, wait until the pot cools down, then wash it.

Since the clay is alkaline in nature and when food is cooked, it neutralizes the PH balance of food, hence acts as a natural detox. Mud contains all the possible vitamins even B12.
